true vector engine causes hang

I am getting a system hang on a regular basis. Recently, I
replace the HDD and updated did windowsupdates to whatever
was available for this WinXP Notebook.

The App Event log has this error at the hang time:

The description for Event ID ( 1 ) in Source ( True Vector
Engine ) cannot be found. The local computer may not have
the necessary registry information or message DLL files to
display messages from a remote computer. You may be able to
use the /AUXSOURCE= flag to retrieve this description; see
Help and Support for details. The following information is
part of the event...


Could this be some memory problem???
 
Uninstall ZoneAlarm, then get the latest version as that typically fixes
most problems.
If the crashes still persist, test your memory with a memory tester
(http://memtest86.com)
