Troubleshooting NTVDM installation -- Part Two

I am running Windows XP (Media Center Edition) Version 2002; SP2. I've been
having difficulty installing an old version of Quicken and believe I'm
missing some files (or they're corrupted). I'm using Article 222975 from the
knowledge base to help me troubleshoot. I think I've found the problem but
need advise in resolving. My KnownDLLs file lists rasapil16.dll; however, my
%SystemRoot% file lists rasapil32.dll. I tried installing Quicken on my
husband's laptop which has rasapil32.dll in the SystemRoot file and it worked
fine so I'm guessing it's because those two are out of sync. Am I right in
suspecting it's the KnownDLLs file that needs to change...and if so how do I
do that? Thanks so much for all your help...this forum has been a godsend in
getting me this far!
