Troubleshooting already installed Microsoft Office 2003

I had installed my microsoft office version 2003. And from what I thought it
took. But when I went to go type my paper in Word, I received again a request
for my name, initials, organizaiton and the registeration key. So I
re-entered the information, but then it said I was unauthorized. Could
someone tell me why?
 
Were you logged in as Administrator when you did the install?
