Office product No.

Jeff

I'm in Windows 7 64 bit.

I own Office XP pro and have Word 2002 installed which I use all the
time. I tried Office 2007's PowerPoint but am tired of working with
Office 2007's ribbon want to go back to PPT 2002. However, when I try to
install PowerPoint 2002 from the Office XP Pro CD, it tell me the key I
am entering is the wrong key. It is pretty old so I may be misreading
one of the numbers.

Fortunately I have Word 2002 installed from this same CD on this same
laptop. Is there a way to find its product ID from the installed Word,
possibly in the registry, so I can now install PowerPoint 2002 and do
some productive work instead of fighting with the ribbon?

Thanks.

Found out how to do it. I clicked on "Change" in Add/Remove Programs and
added PPT.

Wonder why it thought my number was invalid.
Any way to check what the installation thinks it should be?
