Troubleshooting ADD/REMOVE programs

I recently tried to install a new program, but it appears to have cleared
out most of my ADD/REMOVE program listing in the Control Panel.. Checking
HKLM\Softwaer\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Uninstall I still see a ton
of entries... What causes them to display or not display in ADD\REMOVE
programs?

XPSP2 latest updates.

Check if there is an uninstall netry for the new program. It may be
defective. Remove it to see the rest of the list again.

Hi Carl,

This is generally due to the DisplayIcon having a negative number, thus
creating pages of white space. From here you can either remove the negative
number or remove the last application listed: Start/Run/Regedit

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Uninstall\{}

If your issue involves AutoCad, you can download the fix on line 226 (right
hand side): http://www.kellys-korner-xp.com/xp_tweaks.htm
