trouble zonemappings Local Intranet

I installed a Terminal server farm with 12 servers. The problem is that local
network URL's are placed in the Internet zone when I add the domain suffix in
the FQDN. when I leave the suffix out, the URL is displayed as Local
Intranet. This is highly anoying since we use Integrated authentication. I
cannot find what to change in order to make this work.

I use a large GPO with Internet Explorer settings enabled. However, I do not
have Internet explorer Enhanced security enabled on de TS2k3 farm, so there
should not be any changes done.

Any support will be welcome. Regards,
Ron

Thank you. I already performed this action and the workaround does the trick
all right. I do think it's strange that IE is not capable of noticing what is
internal and what is external, but ok.

I also goyt mixed up by another problem in which UNC path's were not
recognized as Local Intranet. Searching for a resolution for that problem I
noticed this answer and thought it would not work. But it does, so perfect!

Regards, Ron
