Trouble with startup list of programs

Mike

After going in with msconfig to check my startup programs because of an
empty box on the monitor when the computer started up, I found a program
Tauman listed. By a process of elimination removing the start check one by
one, I found this entry to be the culprit. I recently bought a program from
Agnitum entitled Tauscan for Trojan detection and removal. The Tauman entry
also contains the Agnitum name as part of the entry in the list of startup
programs. I am running Windows Xp Home with Sp2 installed. How do I delete
the Tauman entry? Incidentally there is no entry in startup for Tauscan even
though it is installed on the computer.
Thanks

You can uninstall the program. Startups come from all diff locations and are
entered into the Registry. Check with the Agnitum support folks for help if
you want to keep the program. The program has to run to work.
