Trouble with network printer on xp pro

I am using a network at work. 3 XP Pro machines networked through a
USRobotics 5461 wireless router/printer server. 1 of the computers has
lost connection to the printer and all efforts have failed at restoring
the connection. This computer is hard wired to the router and is able to
connect to the internet as well as the other computers. When I attempt
to add a new printer to the computer I type in the url of the network
printer and am told the printer is not connected or has lost its
connection to the server. That's as far as I am able to proceed and then
have to cancel the process. Thank you.

Instead of entering the URL option, try entering the server address in the
'Name' box shown under the 'Connect to this printer (or browse for a
printer, select this option & click Next)' option. It will then search &
hopefully find the server, just select the server when found.

ps-our printers at work all have their server address labeled somewhere on
the printer for easy reference)
