Hi,
I live in a dorm and share a hub with a roommate. When I
open iTunes my roommate can see me on his computer, but
can't play any of my songs. After about 10 or 20 minutes,
I'm able to see him on my computer and we can both play
each other's songs. Is there a reason why it takes so long
for me to see him? Thanks a lot.

iTunes is a mac thing, ask at apple's site. This is microsoft's newsgroup.

iTunes is an "Apple" thing, not totaly mac. Apple released the Windows
version a few months ago. Still contact Apple for support.

Now the MS people are going to cry, because Apple does Windows better
than Microsoft!

Is the device a Hub or a Switch? What is your IP and his? Do you both
have the same Sub-net Mask? iTunes queries the WorkGroup or Domain. If
you have a large group of computers in the same WG or Domain it is
searching all of them for another copy of iTunes that might be
sharing.

HTH

and try to ignore the MS zealots
