Trouble with audio

This problem just recently started for me. When I try to make a music video,
the audio doesn't "anchor" to the clips. In other words, if I click on a clip
in the middle of the project, the audio starts from the beginning instead of
the middle. I can't syncronize the song with the clips this way. What am I
doing wrong?

The audio never did "anchor" with the images.
You can move the audio around on the timeline or you can add blank images
between some clips and adjust their length if that helps.
