trouble when upgrade from win2k adv to win2003 enterprise

I have upgraded file server from win2k adv to win2003 enterprise. After
finished upgrade process, sp1 installed, then screen displayed like 16
colours, active directory management tool disappeared. (before upgrade I done
commands: adprep /forest and adprep /domain with any error)

When I tried to access from winxp client then returned the error message:

"Arithmetic resutl exeeced 32bits"

And now no one can access files on this server.

Anyone can help to fix this trouble?

Yes.. Clear the OS and start over. Upgrading can run into bad results.
