trouble uninstalling

Hi looking for some help on uninstalling a couple of Games, here are my two
problems

I have a game (Sims Deluxe edition ) that I installed months ago (when I
first got the computer).Had trouble with it crashing .So I thought I would
uninstall the program & reinstall it. the program is on my computer but I
cant uninstall .This is what is happening
From installing right from the start (put cd in & start setup wizard )it
gets to 95 percent complete & then asks me to insert the 2nd cd (sweet as )
but it comes up as “THIS APPEARS TO BE THE WRONG CDâ€.
I tried removing the program through add/remove programs & it asks me to
insert 2nd cd ,but the same result happens .What am I doing wrong .Or what
can I do to fix the problem?

2. I have another game I want to uninstall but it comes up with this
message
UNABLE TO LOCATE THE INSTALLATION LOG FILE “C:\Program Files\Maxis\The
Sims\uninst.isu. “uninstallation will not continue

Any help or suggestions to helping me would be much appreciated.

The Sims games are notorious for needing to be installed/uninstalled in
a certain order. Go to Maxis' website and look for tech support. The
Sims also have active user forums - see if there are links to the
forums from Maxis' site.
