Trouble sending EMail to more than one person

I have a list of Email addresses in Word which I copied onto the "To:" line
of my EMail message in Windows Mail. I hit the "Check Names" icon and
Windows Mail verified the format of the addresses and highlighted one "bad'
address (which I deleted). I composed my message and sent the EMail. For
all intents and purposes, it appears as though the EMail was sent however,
nobody received it. The copy is in my sent file and all of the addresses
show on the "To:" line. Is there a problem with copying and pasting a
list of EMail addresses into Windows mail (this isn't the first time this
happened)? Is there any way for me to definitively tell if the EMails were
sent (besides asking 70 people)? Is there a limit to the number that can be
sent at one time? I have a good cable connection so I don't think anything
timed out.

Help!

Thanks

Windows Mail has no limit, but your mail provider probably does.
Try chopping the list in half, and sending to the first 35, then to
the remaining 35.
