Trouble removing MSN Explorer

Andrew

I am supposed to remove MSN Explorer via the control panel/Add or Remove
Programs. Unfortunately, however, my version of MSN Explorer is not listed.
How do I go about removing it for good? - Thanks - Andrew

This might work:

Open Control Panel, "Add/Remove Programs", click the "Add/Remove Windows
Components" button in the left-hand pane, deselect "MSN Explorer" and OK
your way out.

Thanks Elmo - Tried it and it didn't remove it, why is it so difficult to
remove.
My version is 7.2, perhaps I should update to MSN Explorer 8 - I might find
listed then! - Thanks again - Andrew

And what version of MSN Explorer do you have?
Why are you "supposed" to remove it? Removal of MSN Explorer 9.x would be via
the Control Panel add or remove programs.
Perhaps you're referring to the version of MSN Explorer that shipped with XP?

Same question that Steve asked...
- What version of Msn Explorer ?

If not present in Add-Remove and an earlier version than 7 or 8 or 9x...check to see if it is present in Windows components.

For XP after accessing Add-Remove, click on Windows Components

For Vista(it should not be present in Windows Features)
