Trouble Opening Word Documents attached to emails

When attempting to open a Word document attached to an email, I receive an
error message stating that the file can not be found - it is attempting to
find the file on my C drive. I am having to save the document before opening
it. I am able to open files of other formats e.g. video files directly from
emails. Anyone got any suggestions??

If you _could_ open an email attachment directly in Word and tried to
edit it, and thought you were saving changes etc. all along,
eventually you'd discover that nothing had happened, and you'd be very
unhappy.

Save Word attachments to your C: drive before opening.
