Trouble opening programs

Hi...my name is Heather and I am having trouble opening a couple of my
programs. I downloaded Itunes and when it was installed I tried opening it
and got an error message. I also can't open my Arcsoft Video Impression,
when it used to open fine. Also, there are home videos (.mov) that I can't
open in Real Player, Quicktime, or Video Impression, yet I CAN open it in
Windows Media and Nero. Can someone help me, I am getting very frustrated
and am ready to restore my computer as far back as I can and see if that
fixes it!

The typical one that asks if you want to send an error report to Windows or
not. The actual details are very long, but I could post the whole thing if
needed.
