Trouble making movie combining video clips

Hello all,

Maybe one of you can help me with this problem.
I dl-ed several video clips from internet, and I wanted to make a whole
movie / DVD from it.
For making the movie I use WMM2.
Movie making goes pretty well, and making am AVI-file works also.
But here is the problem: I cant play the avi file. I think it is corrupt or
something. I have all the codecs, well I think .......
I cant use the AVI file to transform it to a MPEG2 file to make a DVD.

--> When using Pinnacle studio 9 to make a film, I cant import several clips
due to different images per secons. Maybe that's the problem ?

so:
- WMM2: can make a film, but corrupt AVI file
- Pinnacle studio 9: cant make a film at all ................. cant import
all video clips.

what can I do?

Studio 9 needs type II DV-AVI files and MM2 makes them as type I.... you
need to convert them from type I to II using a utility... there's links to a
couple of them on the Setup > Other Software page of my site.

Thanks - again - for the information.
I self think it may be a frame per second issue.
I mixed 24 and 29 fps clips ........
and some clips have 25 fps instead of 24. recoding some of the clips, I let
you know if it works.
