Trouble loading RAID drivers

I am reloading XP Pro in a RAID 0 config. I boot from the XP CD press F6 and
when it comes time to load the HD Controller I get this error message>
txtsetup.oem unexpected error 1024 at line 1747
in D:\NT\BASE\BOOT\SETUP\OEMDISKC
I have been building and repairing machines for years and never had a
problem I couldn't solve but this one has got me.
System = 2 WD 75 gig Raptors on an Intel D865GBF
any input would be most appreciated,
Brent

When I needed to do the same think a year ago when building a new pc, I had
to copy the driver from the cdrom to a floppy disk. When the install
process starts and you are asked about loading any special drivers point the
process to the floppy drive containing the driver. In my case, I was also
installing WD 75 Gig raptors on an Asus Mobo. If your build does not have a
floppy disk drive you will most likely need to temporarily install one
temporarily.

DJB,
Thanks for the reply. Unfortunately I loaded the floppy into my floppy
drive after pressing F6 and when I get to the screen to press S to load the
controller I get the error message. This is a wierd problem because nothing
has been changed on the machine. I am almost thinking of buying a brand new
floppy drive to see if that is the problem although I doubt it is,..........I
hate log jams and will be trying to fix this one in my sleep,
Thanks Brent

it's one of these two (I think!@):

remake the floppy disk from the mobo maker's utility, the disk has "gone
bad", trash it and use a fresh floppy disk. Your drive is most
likely just fine.

that path seems to be pointing to the setup cd itself, perhaps that disc
has gone bad, you'll need to remake it (is it a slipstream?). It is a
rather weird path, it does look like it might be to the cd. xp setup will
look to the cd for an oemsetup file, then to the floppy for the same.
the floppy files are always at the root. when burning the slipstream
always do a verify!
