Trouble installing XP Pro oem with Raid 0

Hello, I am building my first PC and I'm using two 80 GB Western Digital
harddrives for Raid 0. I set up for Raid in my BIOS, created the Raid 0 set
with the Silicon Image utility, and used the sata/raid driver floppy when I
hit F6 during XP pro install. It recognizes the 149 gb hd and I select
Silicon Image Raid for Windows XP. The problem occurs during the install of
Windows, it cannot copy the drivers from the floppy to the Windows system /
setup folder. I am new at this whole thing and have been nearly pulling my
face out working on this for hours! i'm using:

Asus A8n Sli premium
OCZ platinum 2gb
evga 7800 gt
2 NEC dvd burners (oem)
Toshiba floppy (oem)
2 Western Digital Caviar SATA 80gbs (oem)
XP Pro (oem)

I just ran into that problem last night. It seems the drivers on the floppy
are corrupt if you used the Make Disk from the ASus CD. I had to download
the file from the net and add it to the floppy. I recall it was idecoi.dll
or something like that.

Mike,
I have been to many forums about the performance of the Sil Raid compared to
the Nvidia and the Nvidia comes out ahead. I have mine setup there and it
runs Fantastic. You might want to give that a try and also disable the Sil
Raid in bios for faster bootup.

Thanks for the advice.. I disabled silicon and made a nvidia raid disk. After
enabling Raid in the NVRaid configuration menu in Bios, I can't hit F10 to
enter their Raid utility in post. Now what am I doing wrong? :(
