Trouble Booting Up

When I go to reboot, the computer hangs at the Win2k logo and sometimes,
after five or ten minutes, it boots up; other times it just hangs and never
goes into Windows and other times it boots just fine.

Any suggestions as to what may be causing this and how to fix it?

Thanks!

Cody

Check Event Viewer and Device Manager for errors and or non-starting
devices.

I have had the same problem -- I stored my computer for a month, re-connected,
and now it takes forever to boot.

I ran event-viewer and it reports a SCUZI problem. I no longer have anything
connected to my SCUZI card.

How do I fix this? How do I tell Windows that the device (an old Zip Drive)
isn't attached?

TIA

Post the Event Viewer message. When you view the logged event in Event
Viewer in the upper right corner, third button down is a copy to clipboard,
then paste in the body of a reply message.
