Trouble Booting Up

Well, today I got home and tried to turn on my computer (I'm on an old laptop) and I got to the loading screen to login and right as it was about to laod screen, computer restarted itself and now it keeps doing this over and over (until I manually turn it off, but the cycle continues if I turn it on). Just wondering if anyone could help

Got the exact same problem. As far as Im reading this newsgroup, i found many people who seems to have that problem. By the way, I've already tried the Recovery Console and it does not work as it does not recognize my administrator password. Runing Windows in any other "secure" way is useless as well

Any Ideas? Im desperate!
