Spyware identifies the above but can't seem to
permanently remove it. Any suggestions?

Did you try running MSAS in Safe Mode.

Yes, I tried that but same result. It shows up on the
next scan. Any other suggestions? I trust MS monitors
this board.

Microsoft Antispyware is an unsupported beta product. Microsoft does
monitor this board, but a direct response from a Microsoft staff person is
unlikely--it is summer and they are thin on the ground.

I'd try Trend Micro's online scanner, or their downloadable system cleaner.
