Hello...I am running Windows XP Professional and have
been getting a trojan virus lately that is proving hard
to get rid of...It is called Trojan
Downloader.Small.6.1...I have a variety of spyware and
adware removal programs like Adaware 6.0, Spybot Search &
Destroy. SpyDoctor, Spy Sweeper, etc....I have the EZ
Lite Firewall and running AVG anti-virus program....but i
still get this trojan...can anybody tell me how to get
rid of it...for good...AVG detects it but doesn't banish
it...I have the free edition of AVG...any help is
appreciated....thanks...Raoul

Michael:

The follwing are better URLs to access online scanners.

As for McAfee Stinger, Stinger is NOT an investigative tool and specifically targets ~45
Trojans and worms (mostly worms) and Stinger does NOT target "Downloader.small.6.1" so
providing Stinger is a mistake (and it is NOT an online tool as you indicated)

In addition, you should direct people to the News Groups that specialize on infectors...
