M

Mantaray44

got sent a link that totally jammed my system. Files are:
"VirTool:WinNT/Cutwail.F" and TrojanDownloader:Win32/cutwail.S and Cutwail A.A
Got into system and will not allow me to turn on Windows automatic updates.
As result of CareOne scan the fies are both detected and removed then once
system is rebooted here they are again. Endless cycle and Trojan throws me
pop ups to porn sites..excuse me..bad porn sites.

Consider restarting in safe mode with networking, and doing the scan at
safety.live.com.

That will be Microsoft's scanning and cleaning code, with the absolute
latest definitions.

Doing the work in safe mode will give the tools a better chance at cleaning.

You can also call 1-866-pcsafety for help with this issue in the U.S. or
Canada. If you are elsewhere in the world, call the local number for paid
Microsoft support, and ask for the free support for virus or spyware or
security patch related issues.
