Tried Uninstalling IE 6 to Get Rid of SpyWare!!!!!

I tired editing the registry for the Hkey to get rid of spyware and after which IE 6 will no longer run, then I tried to uninstall IE figuring a would reinstall a clean copy and my problems would be fixed WRONG. I was not able to uninstall and now it will not work at all. I went to the MS site to download a new copy but everytime I try to install it, i get the message that I have a newer version and the install stops. How do I get things back to the way they were before

Check your system for "hijackware":

Run these tools in the following order with nothing else running in
background:

1. CWShredder (fix all found)

2. Ad-Aware (fix all found)

3. Spybot (RTFM but generally fix everything in red)

Important: You must seek updates for Ad-Aware, Spybot, etc., before each

everything, 24/7. When all else fails, HijackThis

It will help you to both identify and remove any hijackware/spyware. **Post

Also update your virus definitions and then run a full system scan. From
now on, do both daily.
