Trial Access 2007

R

Roger Bell

I recently downloaded and installed a Trial version of Access 2007. I have
since installed the real version, but it will not configure and run the
program, as it says that the Product installation has been corrupted and I
cannot Remove the Trial version.

Any advice would be appreciated.
ThankYou

Uninstall Access and try again. If you still have problems you can try to
use a system restore point from before your problems started:

Start >>> Control Panel >>> System

then click on the System Restore tab and follow the dialogs.

When you uninstall, you must reboot, then reinstall and reboot. The only
other suggestion that I have is to backup the data only, then wipe and
reload the computer. That's an awfully drastic step, but it may be easier
and safer than manually going through the registry and deleting all Office
entries. I had to do that about 12 years ago when I had a review copy of an
Access beta that timed out. When I installed the retail copy, it wouldn't
work right. I ended up partition my drive and installing Office to the new
partition.
