trendline bug?

I'm using Excel 2007 Beta 2. I've tried several times and i just can't add
trend line for my point chart (scatter x y). It doesn't really matter what
data i enter for the chart. When i'm making an attempt to add a trend line
everything's fine unless the trend line type is other than linear. For
example when i select expotential one, Excel starts using 100% cpu and eat
about 200 - 300 mb ram. I've tried waiting for some time but nothing happens.
In Excel 2003, for the same data all types of trend lines work correct.

I cannot reproduce your problem with the information given. Adding an
exponential trendline to a chart works just fine for me. You might try
re-installing. Alternately, provide more information, such as
- How much data?
- Can you list the data (in body of reply, no attachments please)?
- =COUNT(xdata) and =COUNT(ydata)
- What hardware?
