Tray Icon

For some unknown reason, when I reboot my XP computer, the Messenger icon
does not appear in my taskbar at start-up, however, it is running and I am
logged on. If I run the messenger program and then hit the X, the icon goes
down to the tray normally. It's just on start-up that this occurs. The
messenger icon is assigned the "always show" in the tray. All the correct
options are set in the preferences (I know the program - been using it a long
time). In msconfig, the correct line for messenger and background are there -
it just doesn't appear in the tray on start-up. Registry tweak? Any ideas?
Thanks,
Russ

Disable Universla Plug and Play Device host and SSDP Discovery Service in
