trash bin dissapeared from desktop and windows explorer

Hello fellows
For some reason the trash bin has dissapeared from the desktop and windos
explorer. Can anyone help me to get it replaced in the system by giving me
guidens in how to do so?? I dont know if the items I delete now when not
having trash bin will fill up the hard disk space or not?
I would be very happy to get help in this matter :=)
