transparant blocks appearing in images

A

Andrew

A friend has been experiencing a problem when pasting
images into powerpoint presentations.

Occasional, some of the pasted images contain small
transparent blocks. These images will disappear if the
image is resized even a little bit, but this problem is
still annoying

Chances are that they do not disappear, but only become un-selected. Have
him/her/it/they select an object on one of the slides that had one of these
clear boxes. Then hit the TAB key to select each item on the slide in
sequence. I think you will find your small clear boxes right where you left
them.

A lot of times these will be or have links to the internet. This is one of
the reasons we strongly advise not to cut and paste from the internet.
Instead, save the image to the hard drive, then insert the picture from
file.

There is a lot more information for you and your friend at www.pptfaq.com
including this suggestion. It is well worth the read, and will make both of
you better for the time spent there.
