Transmitting PDF documents

Hello,

second message, second question ;)

When i fax pdf documents the Adobe Reader gets open, the fax is transmitted
(after 11 seconds - see my question before), and i get the Job number back.
But Adobe Reader still stays in memory. Transmitting another fax opens a new
instance of Adboce reader. So if i fax about 50 pdf documents, i´ll have 50
Adobe processes in memory with 50x about 20MB memory usage...

any idea?

Thx in advice

Rene

p.s: sorry for my bad english

Which version of Reader? I've had significant trouble with 7 and prefer 4 or
5 for faxing needs.

Try the Aloaha PDF Suite. It includes a PDF Editor. If you configure that as
your default PDF print handler you will not have any problems.

Hello,

can´t say that this works....

But the software itself seems to be interesting...

That's fine. You would notice it'll do the same when yoiu use IE to open a
PDF from the web. It's by design, to speed up opening the next document

Sorry,

forgot to mention that the Aloaha FAX Connector to share the XP FAX Service
works only with a valid serial key. You would need to contact their support
to ask for an evaluation key.
