Transitive Trust Failed in Test Network

Hi There,

I have restored my AD environment to a test network using nt backup to
restore the machines and the system state.

I have a parent domain with 2 domain controllers and a child domain with 3
domain controllers.

Replication between the two domains is failing as the two way transitive
trust has failed. Attempting to verify the trust via the Domains and Trusts
mmc has failed.

Is there any way I can re-establish this trust between the two domains? It
is not possible to remove and re-create the trust as is was created
automatically when the domains were first created.
