Further question regarding transitive nature of forest trusts

B

Regarding forest trusts;

I understand that forest trusts are only transitive in nature between
domains in the two forests. For example, assuming there is a two way
transitive trust between Domain A and Domain B and another two way
transitive trust is created between Domain B and Domain C, users in Domain A
would NOT be trusted by Domain C.

Has this changed at all with Service Pack 1 or custom hotfixes?

Thanks in advance for any assistance.

That is correct -- it would have better been termed "semi-transitive"
trusts but Microsoft has not (yet) adopted that terminology.

No.
