transitions

I created a powerpoint on my home computer. I saved it as a powerpoint show
and burned it to a disc. When I play it on another computer, the pinwheel
transitions and the custom animations do not work as they do on my home
couputer. Is there a way to fix this?

What is the version of PowerPoint on your Home computer and the Other Computer.
You may have created a presentation when played through an earlier version of
PowerPoint cannot do the transitions you have inserted on your home version of
PowerPoint.

Michael,
That is what I was afraid of. Let me ask you this.....Is there a simple way
to bring the ppt. made on 2000 into a ppt.97 and put in new transitions?
Thanks,
Kathy

PowerPoint 2000 and 97 share the same transitions. I think that you mean you
are using PowerPoint 2002 or 2003 and a Custom Animation of Pinwheel. If you
want to play the presentation on a system that only has PowerPoint 2000 or 97,
use the PowerPoint 2003 Viewer instead of PowerPoint. The Viewer can be
downloaded from
http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/...27-43ab-4f24-90b7-a94784af71a4&DisplayLang=en
The Viewer will play your animations correctly.
