Transitions still Kicking my butt in export to Camcorder

I posted earlier regarding difficulty exporting a clean
capture of a project to my Panasonic PV-DV203. Whenever
I add transitions to any project, the audio stutters when
exported to camcorder. If I remove all transitions on
same project and then export, the audio is fine. I have
defraged using Perfectdisk, have save to HD and used
WinDV to export, have even tried saving project to HD w/o
audio, then reopened that file (no transitions anymore as
they are rendered) and resaved with audio added, then
exported. I am shutting down most background processes,
but I have a fairly capable rig, an Athlon 64 3000+ with
512 ram, 120 gig HD, with 110 free, using firewire, etc?

Would I have better luck using 3rd party DVD authoring,
buying an internal DVD burner, and avoid the whole export
to camcorder to burn on a separate DVD burner???

Any help or new ideas would be hugely appreciated!!!

I had piggy-backed your original problem with a similar
problem in the prior thread. I seem to have fixed my
problem with the stuttering audio using the work-around
posted in the prior thread.

See embedded comments below (note, I am a somewhat novice
at this):

Have you tried saving the new file to your hard drive,
then viewing the movie to see if the problem is fixed?
If the new file is fine, then the exporting step to your
camcorder is obviously the issue.

Those steps didn't make a difference to me either

Where is the separate burner? Why can't you hook it up to
your system? If you can't (remote location?) tehn I don't
see any way around getting a burner for your system. But
that's my uneducated opinion.

The stand alone DVD burner is a Panasonic DMR-E100H, it is a separate unit, almost like a TiVo, with a 120 gig hard driv
a variety of hookup options (Firewire, avi hookups, s-video, etc for VCR, TV, DV Camcorders, etc) and built-in DVD menu creation capabilities. A nice rig, however it will not hook up to a computer in any way that I am aware of.

Hi there,

This is possible, and as you have nothing to lose by trying it...The
problem may be caused by a codec that Movie Maker does not like.

Instead of reading miles of dross that is full of maybe's and perhaps's
just run the program, it takes a few moments to identify all of the known
codecs that cause this problem and gives you the opportunity of renaming
them, or, you can now use the new Auto feature in version 1.5 and let the
program take care of virtually everything to do with this problem

You can then run Movie Maker and immediately determine if it actually was a
codec issue. If it was a codec issue Movie Maker will now run properly. If
it was not the issue, you have lost nothing more than a short amount of
time.

Whether or not it was a codec issue you must run the program once more and
restore the problem codecs to their original names.

The two procedures together can take less time than it did to read this
message and a whole lot less than reading mountains of bumph that may or may
not apply to you.

The program "Rename Codecs" is free and available from my website.

While there it would be a good idea to check out the tutorial on how to run
the program...that will take around one minute of your time!!! Use this
quick link to get there real fast http://tinyurl.com/3ewb9
