Transition problem with 2003

I have a presentation created with Power Point 2000 that uses the fade
through black transition. Since I've upgraded to 2003, the transition is
choppy, almost changing in big segments rather than being a smooth change.
I've tried changing the speed and other transitions work. Any ideas? I'm
running both on a 1.2GHz processor with 512 of RAM.

Display issues like this are generally related to a combination of video
card, video card drivers, and resources. Updating your video drivers might
help, as might more RAM. I'd definitely try the drivers first, though.
