Transition or Animation in PowerPoint 2003

I am trying to use animation to show changes in a gant chart. I want to have
boxes appear to move to reflect changes. Example, imagine three boxes that
are end to end. I want to be able to have the third box move out with a new
box being inserted in between the second and third box. I want it to be more
of a morphing flow with the actual movement of boxes being shown. How do I
do this?

Thanks.

Hi,

The third box could have a shorter one on top of it. Wipe the bottom one out
for an Exit and wipe the top one in at the same time?

To move the third box you will need to use a motion path and to insert the
new box a "with previous" entrance (probably wipe from left with a slight
delay). If you email me I'll send you a simple demo which may show this more
clearly
