Transition is too fast in narrated PP presentation

Hello,

I am currently working on a presentation in PP2000.

I have recorded the narration and the timing. Whenever I run the
presentation, the transition is too early in some slides and it cuts the
sound before it's ended.

The change of slides occurs before the actual programmed transition time.
The sound is good (I verified it). I tried manually changing the transition
timing and it doesn't help.

Antyhing else I should verify or do?
