Transferring XP registration?

Sceneario:

Selling the whole computer system, hardware and software. All licences and
installation meda included. It won't belong to me anymore, so I'd rather not
have my name there and the new owner of my old computer would like her name
officially registered.

How to change to whom the XP Home OEM is registered to? The computer only
changes owners, not components.

Erase the hard drive. That is, do a format. You do not want to give the new
owner all your personal data.
By doing this, and then reinstalling the operating system, both of you will
be better off, and yourname will be off the computer.

PS: if your XP software is not a full XP disk, read your computer manual to
find out how to restore to "factory" condition.

"T.Waters" gave you good advice. However if you really only want to change
the Registered Owner name then visit Doug Knox's site and use this changer
http://www.dougknox.com/xp/utils/xp_change_owner.htm You will have to
manually remove your User Accounts though.
