Transferring mail, folders, contacts and calendar from Outlook to

I am trying to move all the aforementioned items from MS Outlook XP to
Windows Mail. Is there a way to do this?
 
You can use File | Export from Outlook or File | Import from WinMail.

Windows Mail cannot import a .pst file unless Outlook is installed on the
Vista computer.

You can install Outlook, copy the .pst to the Vista computer, open the .pst
with Outlook, then you can import into Windows Mail.

The calendar is more difficult, as Windows Calendar can only import a .ics
file, and Outlook can't export a .ics file.
I believe that I was able to do it by exporting a csv file from Outlook,
importing thjat into Google Calendar, then exporting a .ics file from Google
Calendar. But that was a long time ago now.

Or, keep using Outlook, as it's better.
