Birthday from contacts to calendar

Is there a way of exporting my contacts birthday / anniversary to the
windows calendar?

I don't want to type it manually in both places (contacts and calendar).

I'm not using Outlook, only Windows Mail anda Windos Calendar.

There's no facility to do this in Windows mail/Windows Contacts, however,
Windows Live Mail does do this with its calendar and contacts:
