Vista mail and calendar synchronization

In my contacts I can add anniversaries and birthdays, but they don't show up
in my calendar. How do I get them to show up in my calendar automatically? I
mean Outlook does it, so why not Vista?

That's like asking why doesn't a Chevy Cavalier perform like a Corvette?
Outlook is a top-of-the-line professional program.
Windows Mail/Contacts/Calendar is not.
