Transferring from Windows Mail to Outlook

How do I export my messages and contact out of Windows Mail into Outlook?
 
Outlook has to be set up on the same PC, then Export from Mail to Outlook

File | Export
I assume Outlook is installed, preferably 2003 or later.
 
In Windows Mail...
File - Export - Messages
select the Microsoft Exchange format
select the folders to export

File - Export - Windows Contacts - CSV

The messages should be in
C:\Users\"username"\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\Outlook\Outlook.pst

In Outlook you can open this .pst
Then import the contacts from the .CSV file if needed (I'm not sure if the
contacts get copied to the .pst file)
