Transferring files

Hi. Hope somebody can help. I'm giving my father my old laptop. I've got lots
of files / data that i want to transfer to my other laptop. I was thinking of
using the transfer wizard on xp. However i'm a little concerned that if i use
this wizard that it will replace existing files on my laptop with files
transfered from my old laptop. The laptop i want to transfer to already has
files and data on it. Can i transfer data to a specific folder from my old
laptop to my current laptop so i can keep exisitng files as well as the
transferred files ? Sorry if this sounds confusing.

I don't know the answer to your specific question, I haven't worked much
with FAST, but here is an article with info on it.

Another option is to take the drive from the laptop, put it in an external
drive enclosure for 2.5" drives and copy the data, or copy the data by
CD/DVD or flash drive.
