I have bought a new laptop and have loaded my email address onto microsoft
outlook. it is sending emails but not receiving any of them.
the emails are being received on my old laptop which still has the outlook
acount set up (with the same email) .. do i have to shut down my first
laptop and email account so i can set it up on my new laptop or am i just
doing something wrong?!!?
all the settings are exactly the same on both of them.
Thanks for any help!!!

POP email is removed from the mail server by the first machine that
downloads it unless you tell it otherwise.

You don't have to shut down the old laptop and mail account. You just need to
configure it to leave copies of messages on the server to they are there when
your second PC tries to get them.
