Transferring a web

Hi, I'm working on a web site in FP2002 on two pcs, one a laptop other desktop.
After working on the lap I zipped up the web and emailed it to my other
desktop. I extracted the files and put them in new folder 1 on my c:/ but
when I try to replace the original web (with the same name) it simply adds it
to the original folder as a separate file. When I saved the web for the first
time in FP it gave it the web folder icon (manilla folder with green dot).
When I copy or move the web from the new folder 1 it just gives it the
regular manilla folder icon.
How can I replace the original web so as to update it with the changes I
made on the laptop?
Thanks,
Catt

You have to publish the site between machine/locations, not copy.

http://www.xxxxx.com/laptop
xxxxx = my site

Can I do it that way????

You can do it if laptop is created as a subweb/subsite under http://www.xxxxxx.com/laptop
