Transfering VHS to PC

Using movie maker 2.0 and trying to transfer VHS to my PC
using pass through feature on Sony mini DV camcorder.
When I try to capture video the camcorder automatically
plays and interrupts the video playback from the VCR. Any
suggestions?

You cannot use the digital camcorder as a pass through device. You can
record the VHS to the digital camcorder and then capture the DV footage to
MovieMaker2.
