Transfering flags to a new computer?

I have successfully transfered my outlook and BCM data to my new laptop. The
only thing that did not seem to transfer is my long list of follow-up flags.
Is there a way to transfer this from one computer to another?

Depends on where you set the follow-up flags. Were the flags set on Outlook items such as e-mail messages or tasks? If so, those
follow-up flags live in the Outlook .pst and might not be available on the new laptop.

If you set follow-up reminders on BCM items, such as Business Contacts or Accounts, they should appear on the new laptop.

How did you transfer the data to the new laptop? Backup/restore, export/import, or copy the physical database files (.mdf, .ldf)?

The follow-up flags were on BCM contacts and accounts. The ones that were
attached to outllook messages came through ok. The pst file was just copied.
The BCM data was transfered using the backup/restore utility.

I appreciate your response.

I never found a resolution so i spent a good part of a day rescheduling all
of the flags.

Sorry I didn't have a better solution.

I also have the same problem - had to rebuild my Vista Home Premium + Office
2007 Pro system from scratch - managed to recover everything (using BCM file
restore to get database from recent backup) except all the BCM contacts'
follow up flags (with date of next contact). I can re-set these if I really
have to(!) but what a pain. Also as an aside I lost all my Outlook
categories as well.
