I am a newbie so be easy on me.
I am using XP home with sp1.
To update my Nikon camera, I have to transfer files to a compact flashcard
after exracting the downloaded files.
The files then update the camera using the flashcard.
I always thought that when you drag the file to the flashcard icon, the
whole file is being transferred.
My firend who is into computers says a better way to do that is to right
click cut on the file to be transferred and then right click paste on the
flash card icon.
The complete file has been transferred to the flashcard icon.
He says alot of times if you just drag the file to the flashcard icon, alot
of times only the shortcut gets copied.
Any thoughts?
