My works sytems use Microsoft Word 2000 and I need to be able to take work home. This is in the form of formated statements with headers and footers and text boxes. I save them to disc, take them home but for some reason my laptop which runs Microsoft XP Home addition Word for Windows controlled by a task launcher will not recognise any of the documents. Can someone please point me in the right direction to getting it sorted.

Thanks, Mick Hudson

Is the problem that the home machine won't read the floppy or that it
sees the files but can't open them? What error messages do you get? The
fact that you have an icon for the word processor on your Quick Launch
toolbar is irrelevant - it doesn't "control" anything, but is rather
just a shortcut. I don't recognize "Word for Windows" - what is the
exact MS Office product you have installed on the home machine?
